Hi all,
My name is Eugene, I an originally from Coventry, UK. Now in Melbourne after 30 years in NZ. I came across my "first"terrapin ( MK5 Sports Car) sitting in a used car yard in 1970. My next in encountered terrapins, other NZ mini-based sports specials in the NZ Sports Car Championship in early 1980's. Now in semi-retirement, and having done the resto thing with a variety of Triumphs, Jaguars, etc. I have seen the light want go buy, beg, steal or build a Terrapin Mk 1 or 5 or both and grow old disgracefully re-living life as an aging but young-at-heart "öld fart".
Baby steps at first, i.e. buy the "Bible according to Terrapin", a set of plans, a couple of parts cars, etc. Get ready for long nights and short week-ends.
Great to be on the forum. I feel like a kid again, glaring at a Mk5 Terrapin in that caryard in Palmerston North.
Eugene (AKA MadPaddy)

Hi Paddy A belated welcome to the Forum. Can you remember any other details about the Mk5? I know of most of the Terrapins in NZ but was not aware that there were any Mk5's. You have aroused my curiosity.

Dear Sirs, I'm Marcello Basagni from Italy. I've recently bought a couple of books by Mr Allan Staniforth and now I would like to buy also the cars drawings to be found with those books. Can you please let me know how I can get such drawings, both paper or in CD. Thank you very much in advance for your help. Best regards, Marcello Basagni
