Allan,
I've been reading the Race and Rally Car source book and would like clarification about moving steering racks forward/backwards. In the example, an angle of 14 degrees is required to give full ackerman i.e. 76 degrees between the steering arm and the track rod. Am I right to conclude the following: If you use a 'straight' rack, and the angle with standard steering arms is incorrect, moving the rack forwards or backwards to achieve the correct (76 in this case) angle will give the correct amount of ackerman.
