I got an email from someone through the board, maybe some of you did too. He says he bought the plans and the book, with the same experience I had of getting only the frame blueprint.
It's hard for me to answer what COMPLETE is. So I'm starting this thread and sending him the link. Someone who knows should tell all of us. I originally bought the single and two seater plans, receiving just the pair of frame prints. Then I recieved a single suspension page with the gould plate, I assume that's for the two seater. After that I don't know if there's anything else that should be there.
Since there's people here who have complete plans, they could explain what complete is.

Well, goodluck. Hapefully the growing pains are over and you'll get the whole thing. But the only way you'll know is if someone tells us. I had thought there was some sort of body plans for the single seater but not the two seater, etc. I don't really know for sure what's true. I sent the guy the link to this post, he responded about having "The electricity." I assume he has a page on the electrical system, which I don't have.
Just wish one of the old timers would tell us something. (Sigh)

To complete the car you need:
* The HSLC book
* Plans sets from Allan (now Clare) which comprises:
The chassis frame plans sheet (single or two seater versions) The suspension plans sheet The string suspension computer sheet The data sheets for the spax shock absorbers & springs
Beneficial additions not in the plans package:
The suspension wishbones Jig construction notes & diagrams The gearchange development drawings The steering rack development drawings Gould plate modification to rear suspension - drawings & notes

On the electrical side - there were no real set diagrams. It's a racecar - minimal effort to sort if you have the ability:
Starting system - remote battery (onboard small battery) with heavy duty connection plug to get going in paddock. Ignition - depends what you fit Instruments - depends what you fit
plenty of designs on the internet

Okay, great. So far from Clare I have: (2) Chassis sheets, 1 each for the single seater and two seater. (1) Suspension sheet, including the Gould plate I understand to be for the two seater. (1) Bulletin #9, (1971) for center gear change. I believe all from Rob I have *.PDF's of: (1) Spax letter head with handwritten details on shocks. "Fully extended length between attachment centers," etc. I assume that to be the required version. (1) Wishbone jig. (1) Rackmod, from above. Oh, there's REAL info on that string computer? Imagine my surprise, I was lost from just looking at the book, which mostly makes it clear how much you DO need it. (Or maybe I'm just dense.) So I too wish any additional info I can get, I'll have a tough enough time with it. www.racingexposure.com/blog/2010/05/how-i-learned-to-stop-spending-money-and-go-motor-racing-anyway-part1/www.racingexposure.com/blog/2010/05/how-i-learned-to-stop-spending-money-and-go-motor-racing-anyway-part2/
