Hi folks, I recently bought a damaged front and rear clamshell of an old Chevron B8 as I have long had a plan of building a mini based Mk5 type spaceframe (inspired by the ex Edward Labinjoh Fisher Spyder currently hillclimbing in Scotland) to replace my old sports racer, 'Pandora' However, having managed to get them into my single garage alongside my dismantled '60s clubmans car, I realise I'll not manage to do anything to either car, so on the 'last in, first out' principal, sadly I think I'm going to have to let them go. They do need a bit of work to sort, but they are ideal to create a buck from which to pull a mould. I planned to use them in an open 2 seater, but they could of course be used to create a closed coupe with less work. I even have the details of a guy who can supply a B8 screen. photos are available at: www.flickr.com/photos/44645707@N00/sets/72157629144610516/I'd be happy to offer advice to any buyer on how to use them to create a buck (I used to be a GRP pattern maker) Oh, and I'm just outside Edinburgh, but they fit in the back of a Transit van. best to email me direct : alastairbrownuk (at) yahoo. co . uk (remove gaps, obviously) Al
