Looks like that could be a lot of fun!
The Megapins were designed and built by the late Ian Scott. He did have some association with Allan Staniforth.
I once had a 2005 honeycomb chassis monocoque Megapin but sold it to a guy in Ireland. Ian had changed the chassis for a full carbon monocoque on his car.

I know the car well having helped Gordon rebuild it when he bought it and installed the 600 engine.
Its one of Ian's early cars before he developed them into the later honeycomb and carbon fibre monocoques (which Allan himself had as his last competition car).
Gordon renewed the tub completely on the car when he rebuilt it and we also added additional stiffening members at the time. The pushrod suspension at the back was a modification we designed later during Gordon's ownership - we also added pull-rod actuation at the front but that was less successful and Gordon changed back to the original layout.

I'd be interested to see any photos of the front suspension mod if you have any I managed to snap a driveshaft before the first corner at Aintree on Saturday which ended my day ? But replacement on its way so soon be ready to run again ? Must have been an end of life failure one of those things
