Some of you are wandering how to post pictures without having a website. I know some forum have galeries for members , but Proboard does not seem to have this function, I'm working on a solution .... In the mean time you can upload your pictures on some of the picture album services. I'm using www.photobucket.com. right now for the banner and the background, it's free and convieniant. Once your pictures is hosted, you just have to create a link, using the image button or by using: such as and you would get: For your avatar, go to your profile section, you can add the link, you do not need to resize the picture, it's done automatically. Hi Fred, On the subject of photos - I am having a problem with your Terrapin banner "g.bmp". I use an 'old' version of the mac OS and a less than perfect MS Explorer browser and as a result it does not like displaying bitmap type images. Would it be possible to try converting the image to a .jpg for the banner?
One other thing - I note that when I posted a reply I think the web sites obscenity filter took a bit of a liberty with the word which describes the area of a single seater in which the driver sits! Just to check I will type it again here - cockpit Keep up the good work, Doug.

Hi Doug, the banner was done quickly on MS paint... I'm doing a new one tonight on my real computer , that will be in jpeg.
I'll double check the filters since I didn't set anything as of yet.
Thanks for the kind words, It was on your site that I discovered what a Terrapin was a few years back, so I guess I need to thank you too.

When you create a post or reply to a post there is a "Choose File' box next to "Attachment:" (second box down) Click the choose file button and attach a .jpg image up to 1,024Kb size from your computer. The attachment can only be viewed if you are looking at the thread directly (not in the "Top Ten" last posts). You need to be logged in to make use of the enlarge picture funtion or download the attached file. The other way is to have your picture hosted elsewhere (ie, photobox or similar) then use the " Add tags:" picture icon to link to the image from your message. Attachments:

But I guess the downside is just one pic at a time ?

But I guess the downside is just one pic at a time ? Yes it seems that you can only add one picture per post using the "attachment" feature. This could be a good thing though - especially if you have ever tried to navigate a thread which is full of large pictures! Even worse if people have replied to the post and "quoted" all the pictures again....
