Hello Allan i am restoring a Terrapin here in Trinidad i have been told that it may very well be the "Bizzy" Williams car but i have not been able to confirm this. can you confirm the whereabouts of this car. is there any identification numbering on the framework such as a VIN# that can be used to identify if it is or not Bizzy's Terrapin.

Hi reddawg, No Terrapin chassis were ever formally stamped or plated so far as I know, but have quite a lot of detail in my own records. The Bizzy Williams car, was built in England by Murray Rose and then raced primarily at Bushy Park in Barbados. (more or less in Bizzys back garden. He might be able to help if you contact him direct. He is still very much alive and kicking and in the local telephone book so far as I know. His son Stuart also a successful and current racer. I have a mysterious note of lBizzys car as 4/12, and it certainly had an iron 8-port head at one time .Will help more if I can. Regards, Allan S.

Allan,
I have a sports racing Terrapin which a friend and I bought in the eighties and hillclimbed until 1991 with it's last outing being at Prescott where it proved its worth with a second fastest 0-64 ft time of 1.99 secs (I think that works out at 0-60mph in 2.73 secs!). Anyway, I was wondering if you have any knowledge of the car's history? I was told that it was originally built in the mid 60s by Terry Simms but would be interested to know if you can confirm this or if you know of any other history up to the time I bought the car in pieces in '86.
Thanks and regards, Peter.
