Hi chaps - I purchased the Terrapin on Ebay - just signed onto this site today.
Before you ask - no never had one before but I was intrigued by how it is put together.
It really does need a complete rebuild - so I am stripping it down and have the chassis blasted and hot metal sprayed - only 400 hundred rivets to go! Do any of you guys know a good aluminium shaper? - I would like to get a new nose fabricated - I am based in East Sussex.
Regards
Pete

Update on making panels. Have a look at www.metalshapingzoneDavid Gardner has released a DVD on the subject. He makes it look so easy. If nothing else, it shows the quality of his workmanship.

I know someone who has moulds for the bodywork. Please contact me through my website at www.terrapinracing.co.uk to find out more. also think i may be in touch with the original builder of your car. so it would be good to confirm this!
