Formula SAE for College teams (And the occasional high school entry) just isn't enough in the US, now we have Formula High School. The cars are a bit more simple, top speed 50mph, (80kph) but where was this when I was in school?
Formula SAE (Much the same as what the UK knows as Formula Student) is recognized by the SCCA for Solo competition, (Time trials) which also accepts go karts. I'd think if Formula High School catches on they'll find a home there too.
Dang, they only have to EMail for the plans to build the frame. (Sigh)
