It is many months since I wrote to Allan's family and I have not had any acknowledgement or response. I am quite disappointed as Allan & I had a great working relationship. I still have many books as I handled this side of the project. A quantity are also with Allan's family but few people seem to have any joy other than those living very close to the family home and have visited. I still have a few copies of plans I bought from Allan and may release them if anyone is desperate. Allan used to allocate a chassis number once a car was ready and has attended at least one race. I don't think this will continue. It looks like Allan's widow Trish was right in asking if I would keep the Terrapin build/book etc. going when we talked at Allan's funeral- she said I was the only one left with an interest to do this. That said I was expecting the family to engage with enthusiasts. Allan's daughter briefly posted a mail on this site but has not been heard of since. I am in a quandary as to what to do? Anyway - I have posted the shock absorber details on the site as requested by a member and I have books in store. The plans will continue to be an issue as Allan kept this element of the project to himself. Kind regards Rob

I have a PM from Clare Staniforth/Terrapin94 on this board, as Terrapin himself might have received today. She says we can use PayPal to pay for the plans, though she hasn't given an account name. I've written back. Also: "It has been a communication problem that we have not been in touch for some time, so very sorry for this." If they check PM's maybe once a week, it shouldn't take so long. But if the PayPay account to buy from is on the board and the buyer has a way to send the address, it should be easy.
She promises ". . . .A valid copy with chassis number as Allan would have done." And also reminds of the copyright. No need to remind me, I have no access otherwise. But if you're BUYING the legit copy anyway, no harm in getting a headstart while they're in transit. You'll have your chassis number.
I don't know if that is just to sell off remaining copies they have in print or they're planning prints of their own. It just seems like however it works with the books, you should make the same arrangements with his widow for the plans. Or see if the self publishing entities can handle it.
