I have recently aquired a Terrapin chassis ;D set up for 10" wheels. I will be running the car in "period" build ie. A series and no wings and will require to obtain some 10" wheels. What are people running with regard to rim width? I was thinking about 6" front and 8" rear assuming that tyres were still available. Any advise would be most welcome. Regards, Steve

Hi Steve, Other than road tyres 165/70-10 you are probably looking at Hoosier 18.0x6-10; 18.0x7.5-10; 19.5x6.5-10 or 19.5x7.5-10 racing tyres. www.hoosiertyre.co.uk/circuithillands.phpAvon also still list a 8.5/16.0-10 slick (6 wheel Tyrell?) but incredibly expensive.......

Thanks for that. I will need to see where I can obtain some wide 10" rims although thinking about it I should at least check to ensure that the chassis pick-up points are actually in the correct place for 10" and not 13". Must finish the Austin first though. Steve
