Happy New Year to all. I am Belgian, living now in Brittany, France after 13 years of work in Ireland. Now retired, I plan to build a model of a Terrapin MKI (scale 1/24 and 1/12). I got the 1973 edition of the book in London when I was working (for some years) for British Leyland. 1. Is the drawing precise enough for building a model. 2. The scale is strange. What is right 6 inches (16mm) or 12 inches (30mm)? 3. What was the wheelbase for an average size driver? Thanks, unipart Attachments:

Hi and welcome to the Terrapin forum. The wheelbase of the standard Terrapin is 84 inches. However the builders can add up to 8" into the middle bays for taller drivers. (standard wheelbase was for a 5'9" tall driver) Doug.

Thanks for your answer, Doug.
I will use the 84 inches wheelbase, I want to make a model very near the standards.
