;D Hi guys & gals, Is there a Terrapin Chassis / car number register as such? When Allan issued chassis numbers, where did this information go? Has it been passed on, hidden, lost? Trying to find information, history, pics etc on these great cars is near on impossible! Yes, I've read Allan's books, I also have a set of plans. I even tracked down a mint copy of "Sports Car World - May 1974" (with article on the Terrapin in Australia). I have looked on the register (great pics of what is there so far) & googled Terrapins. Apart from a lot of information on turtles; not much on the open wheeler race car! I have seen pics of Terrapin Mk1's up to chassis number 72 (not to mention the Mk2's etc). Terrapin Mk1-71 purchased recently in New Zealand - top find. How does one know if it is the real deal (a numbered one)? Is there a certain place on the chassis to look? Is it stamped or a plate? What does an original certified numbered chassis look like? Or is it just written in the log book? Is there any documentation out there? Also, why don't all you guys & gals that own a Terrapin want to show the rest of us enthusiasts - how about some photos!!! New & old pics are welcome; come on... didn't your mum tell you to share with your mates! Cheers, Carnut
