OK two more questions WIll a rad that is 500mm x 170mm x 50mm(approx) fit at the front of the Mk1 chassis (I have looked at plans and it looks ok but another opinion would be good) as I have the option on an ex Lotus F1 rad (very well made). What size tanks are people running 2 gallon (9-10 litres) or larger? Cheers Mark

Hi mark I'm thinking of running the same type fuel cell but in the 3 gallon range....
As for the Rad, I'll have to double check on my chassis. Unfortunetely I'll only be able to do so, at the end of the week.

Running a JAZ 1 gallon tank (very similar in construction to ATL) - better constuction I think
Radiator is a Ford Fiesta item
From memory the area at the front of the car that you have available is around 24" x 10" My rad is around 20" x 8" x 1"
do you like the proper units of measure ? ;D

Cheers Rob, After some conversion calculations into a modern currency the rad looks just about perfect size so I think it will be mine If nothing else it gives me bragging rights for having Lotus F1 bits on my car ;D I think I will grab a Jaz tank nearer the time of needing it. Cheers Mark EDIT: THE RAD HAS BEEN PURCHASED ;D ;D ;D ;D
