Sorry Rob, but thats's no guarantee. My chassis was given the number mk1a/51, but it wasn't stamped - I didn't really see the point (no RAC Log Books in those days). There's no knowing of how many builders actually did. I know I'm in good company because Allan tells me he didn't stamp his either!

At last, after only 4 weeks failure, I think I am on the Forum. Most grateful if anyone confirms this for me. As original designer (Allan Staniforth) with Richard Blackmore, I am still alive and competing in "great grandson of Terrapin" the concept and build of the talented Mr.Ian Scott - a 1098 Kawasaki , injected on DTA engine management. Season starts 27 March. For original Terrapin, Mk1A can still supply updated plans. Am extremly flattered b y interest in cars. Will be happy to help answer problems or queries. Do not struggle alone -most problems have hit other enthusiasts befor you. Allan

From" the land downunder", it is extremely good to see the master is with us.
I imagine that a terrapin with a bike motor must take a bit of hanging onto! Best of luck and keep us informed cheers stu
